Landscape Asturias
Asturias presents a landscape full of tourist attractions. In the eastern asturiano ranging from the Sierra del Sueve,
limiting the beaches of
Llanes and Ribadesella ; the hills of the Parque Natural de Ponga
marking the boundaries with Leon, to the
Picos de Europa National Park from Ponga up Peņamellera through Cangas de Onis,
Onis and Cabrales .
Picos de Europa National Park is the first since 1918, being known as the
Parque de la Montaņa de Covadonga.
Grassland
Very close to the house, recreational areas, walks and mountain routes, we will enjoy the earth Asturias.
In nearby villages, activities such as canoeing, horse riding, quad routes, climbing, canyoning, we give
a good portion of adrenaline.
The nearby east coast of Asturias is made up of beaches and cliffs;
Villaviciosa, Colunga, Ribadesella, Llanes and Ribadedeva offer a landscape and environment
impressive and varied. The vagaries of nature have managed to show picturesque places as Gulpiyuri, the buffoons of Llanes
beaches Barro, Niembro, La Franca, Poo, Celorio, Torimbia, etc.
Prehistoric Caves
If something striking in this region of Asturias is the number of caves with strong presence of traces prehistoric.
The most famous (Tito Bustillo - Ribadesella the Pindal - Ribadedeva, Llonin - Peņamellera Alta la Peņa - Candamo the Covaciella
- Cabrales) have recently been added to the UNESCO World Heritage, and others joining Altamira, in Spain as a benchmark.
Also under study as the other caves in Piloña (Sidron) and Collubil in Amieva, which will enrich the information about
of culture and habits of the Magdalenian period.
